Winners! and Some Photos…
August 17, 2011Before I wander you through our summer photos, let’s announce the winner of our Back-to-School Giveaway:
Mabel’s Labels Ultimate Back-t0-School Combo Pack
The winner is: #12 Gretchen
the yubo deluxe lunchbox system
The winner is: #87 Tabathia
The winner is: #73 Jamie
And now photos of our San Francisco and Carmel trip….
At the curviest street in the world, at the start of our day.
Getting ready to ride the duck boat in Fisherman’s Wharf…
Who knew they let 6 year-olds drive?
Or not quite 4 year-olds??
Then a double-double at mommy’s favorite place!
Continuing our walk down to Ghiradelli Square.
And then a trolley car ride up to our hotel after 7 miles of walking around and around and around.
We met The Running Man for dinner in Chinatown as he had to work all day (boo!), but then he was able to sit right behind home plate at the Giants Game, and he called this “work” too, so we didn’t feel too sorry for him.
The next day we traveled to Fort Point, directly under the Golden Gate Bridge…
Thanks to Dear Friend Angie who schlepped us all over that day in her car. Over to Sausalito, then up to Tiburon, then back to San Francisco and down the curviest street in a car. Oh the excitement!
Then we drove down the coast to Carmel for the reason we came to California in the first place…
A wedding at Pebble Beach
Can you imagine a more gorgeous spot to get married??
Then it was meeting up with old friends…
And making an attempt at a Christmas Card photo…
Oh well, it is only August…

on August 18, 2011 11:40 amCongrats to the winners! Off to label all of the parts to our laptop lunchboxes. My oldest will be moving on to lunch in the cafeteria this year instead of in the classroom – I’m afraid it will be far harder to track down lost parts this year!
