Truely North
January 28, 2011Happy, happy Home Tour Friday!
Today we’re headed north to Bracebridge, Ontario, which is a gorgeous little town 2 hours north of Toronto.
I just love a log home and this is a stunner!
Judging by the amount of snow I have outside my window, I’m betting these photos were taken during the summer.
Great room! Love the windows.
Now this is a kitchen!
Here the homeowners entertain, and I had to show you this 2-tiered counter. I just love the openness for parties.
But this is my favorite room of the home. Can you imagine?
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
I just love all the detail in the woodwork.
Bedroom…
Bathroom…
But I saved the best for last!
So I really have 2 favorites. I can’t decide between them!
Many, many thanks to True North Log Homes of Bracebridge, Ontario.
True North has multiple design, energy and building patents, all of which literally create the most technologically advanced luxury log home on the planet. Their innovative log lock compression system is incredibly impressive – they developed and implemented a system that actually ratchets itself tighter as the logs naturally shrink, creating the most energy efficient log wall system available. This provides homeowners significant eco and cost benefits, and allows the only 25-year “zero” air infiltration warranty in the industry.
Thanks to them also for use of these photos.
