The Learning Tower
December 16, 2010We have been in the midst of holiday baking over here (never mind the calories!). Something that’s allowed my adorables to “help” is The Learning Tower from Little Partners.
Isn’t she the cutest?? I couldn’t resist this photo.
The Learning Tower allows your adorable to *safely* reach the counter to help cook, conduct science experiments, do crafts, etc. This is so much safer than a chair pulled up and you’ll know this if you’ve ever had a tipping accident, which we know all too well.
Here’s ours in action. Little adorable would have no part of these photos. This was baking day and he stood up there all the day long until I pulled out the camera and he fled.
So I enlisted the help of my elder adorable to demonstrate:
The best is that the standing area can accommodate 2 adorables, so they can use it together. And the sides keep them in when they fight (something you probably don’t understand if you have girls, but trust me on this).
The standing area can also be adjusted to elevate the standing area – our kitchen island is 6 inches higher than standard (which my 5’2″ self wishes were not the case – I actually hopped in the Learning Tower to roll out dough for cutout cookies!), so this Learning Tower really is necessary for the adorables to reach (and sometimes me).
The tower ($180) comes in 9 different color options and can be found at Amazon: Little Partners Learning Tower.
It also has a Little Partners Art Easel – Natural:
This easel includes both a white erase board and a chalkboard.
I love the idea that one adorable can be cooking while the other is creating art!
Many thanks to Little Partners for sending me a Learning Tower so that I could see it in person!
Tomorrow – Home Tour Friday returns with a BANG!
Have a great day everyone.
