The Good News Network

At the Good Stuff Guide we like good stuff. And I have been setting up a new laptop and every time I open Explorer it is bad stuff – sad news, scary news, depressing news. And while I think it is important to stay appropriately current most news is sensational and meant to get a reaction so I read more. And it is usually not relevant. What do I do with that information? Can I apply it to something in my life? Or is reinforcing an idea that we live in a sad, scary world.
I wanted to find a good landing page so when I opened Explorer I would feel good, not bad. I googled Good News and found…. The Good News Network! Now when I log on I see headlines about food donations and a dog rescuing an elderly couple from a fire. I can thoughtfully seek out relevant news and in the meantime, have a little happy news to feed my day.
There is always good and bad happening in the world, such is the reality of life. It is really about where you choose to put your focus. Check out http://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/ ! Feel good!
