Renee Zellweger’s Connecticut Retreat
February 10, 2012Happy, happy Home Tour Friday to you! Today, join me for a tour of Renee Zellweger’s rural Connecticut retreat. Located on 38 acres, this updated farmhouse truly is a place for rest and respite.
The main residence was built in 1770, and naturally, has been updated since then (probably numerous times!).
There is a pool among the 38 acres to enjoy. And a lovely one at that.
Entry…
Living…
Cozy family room – love the blue!
Library…
Love the red in this dining room…
Bright and happy white kitchen…
Master…
I think this room is in the separate guest cottage.
The recreation barn offers great party space…
And all that Connecticut outdoors.
Gorgeous!
As lovely as this home is, Ms. Zellweger seldom has the time to visit, so she has it on the market. You can find more on the listing here.

on February 13, 2012 11:53 pmI always wonder how celebs decide which books will fill all those shelves at their secondary residences vs. which books are for their home library! Or do they not decide and instead instruct someone to fetch them some books, STAT!
