Poconos Beauty
May 20, 2011Happy, happy Home Tour Friday to you! I hope you’ve had a fabulous week.
As we start to think about summer, relaxing, and sun, I had to share this gorgeous home on Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos Mountain region of Pennsylvania.
Hiya love!
This 8500 square foot vacation home in the Poconos has three floors, including four bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half-baths.
Local fieldstone was used in both the interior and exterior and it’s stunning!
Love the huge windows too.
The massive great room highlights the exceptional water views, soaring ceilings 22 feet tall, with a stone fireplace taking center stage.
The kitchen was expanded from its original design because the family prefers to cook in as often as possible.
The family splits meal time between the kitchen bar and the formal dining room (though the family doesn’t like the term ‘formal’ since the entire home is all-accessible for everyone, especially the kids).
Love the soaring ceiling in this bedroom.
Master bath.
In addition, there is a walk out basement that includes a theater, wine cellar and exercise room, as well as a ski room for storing the family’s seasonal equipment. Not to mention a guest room that sleeps four people.
*Breathless*
But this photo of the 80 foot deck overlooking beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack has me speechless.
Many thanks for this spectacular home to to Estemerwalt Log Homes of Honesdale, Pennsylvania.
Last day to enter the Playfoam giveaway!
