One Incredible Family Basement…
September 11, 2009With the long weekend, I can’t believe it’s Friday already. And that means Home Tour is here!
We’re in Chappaqua, New York today to see a remodeled basement full of space and fun for the whole family.
I’m a ‘put-your-feet-up’ kind of girl and hence, I love sectionals. Bring on the popcorn! I also love that the flatscreen is hung directly on the stone fireplace.
This is a HUGE basement. The stone fireplace in the previous photo is hidden behind the half-wall there.
Here’s another view looking the same room. Love the built-in cabinets at the far end. I’d have those filled lickety-split.
This is the kitchen for the basement. Yes, I’ll let that sink in for a moment.
It’s worth another look. Love, love, love the backsplash.
The tile work in this bathroom is so beautiful.
This shower is stunningly detailed.
Yes, I understand this is my third photo of the bathroom, but it’s gorgeous. And it’s in the basement. So there.
And just for fun… (who knows, maybe these homeowners actually use it??)
Special thanks for the tour to:
Bruce Woolf, Custom Builder and Cabinet Maker, of Quaker Road Associates, LLC of Chappaqua, New York.
