Napa Tranquil
March 25, 2011Happy Home Tour Friday to you!
Today, we’re headed to Napa Valley, California to see a tranquil escape. So curl up, grab your favorite drink and join us!
Designer Beryn Hammil says, “This wine country home was designed to be a second home for a couple who have lots of grandchildren and entertain much of the time. They wanted a home that required minimal maintenance, could handle large family gatherings, and yet have a sophisticated, quiet elegance about it.”
The entryway….
Hammil continues, “The ceiling in the Great Room is exceptionally high, which serves to keep the home cool on hot summer days.”
Gorgeous! Love the combined dining room/great room. Can’t you imagine how fun big Thanksgiving dinners are in this space?
Love this alcove for reading. I’d snuggle up in those pillows and be there for hours.
I wish I had more photos of this gorgeous kitchen. Stunning!
Soothing master bedroom. Love the pallette.
“The Master Bedroom has a sitting area so the homeowners have their own place to escape to when they need a respite,” adds Hammil.
Gorgeous!
This bathroom is equally sumptious.
Love this view of the rear of the home with the pool. What a fabulous home to gather extended family.
Many thanks for this home tour to Beryn Hammil of Beryn Hammil Designs.
