Manhattan Living
September 17, 2010Happy, happy Home Tour Friday to you!
I hope you have survived your week. I’m looking forward to the weekend (and soccer games and family parties and football!)
But I digress.
Today we get to peek inside a Manhattan 2-bedroom apartment that is home to a parents and their teenage son.
So without futher adieu…
I love this look into the happy kitchen. I need to share that I’m a huge fan of yellow so this is my favorite color palette.
This kitchen is HUGE by Manhattan apartment standards. Lovely.
This is the teen’s bedroom.
Love the 2-wall color treatment. It makes the room appear larger.
The master bedroom…
…has everything you need! I’m continually impressed by the organization of this entire home.
I love, love, love this bathroom. It exudes happiness.
Moving to the living/dining room combo:
The soothing nature of these colors make this space really click. Love it!
Here’s another look of this room.
And perhaps my favorite part of the home:
I just love the bookshelves and storage underneath. I need this…
Special thanks to Dawn Falcone of Dawn Falcone Lifestyles for this great home tour!
Have a great weekend! Wishing you the last vestiges of summer…

on September 17, 2010 9:06 amLove the tall ceilings and how they continued storage up high in the kitchen, dining room and living room.
Also love how they fit in a nice looking sitting area in the bedroom. (think this inspired me to continue looking for something to fit into my bedroom too).
Also like how the rug in the master bedroom anchors the bed (we have hardwood floors throughout and I keep hearing about using a carpet like this on design shows – can’t decide however if I want to get out the vacuum for just one bit of carpeting – and we have cats, so I’m sure they and their fur) would love the carpeting)
Thanks for posting this Heidi – so nice to have something that was somewhat relatable.

on September 18, 2010 5:19 pmI LOVE the color scheme and general design of this home, it’s fantastic! Not what I ever imagined could be inside those big, dark New York buildings!

on October 18, 2010 1:01 pmThis space is so cozy, it could easily pass for an Upstate getaway as opposed to real estate in New York City …any idea on what a place like this goes for?
