Lobster Spree
September 8, 2010If you’re ever in South Thomaston, Maine, I highly recommend this place: Waterman Beach Lobster.
We ordered our 1-pound lobsters (which is NEVER enough mind you)
And ate them here.
And I’d be lying if I said we didn’t indulge with these a little.
I think it’s a sin to turn down homemade pies.
And these were just as amazing as they look.

So then we move to dinner…
Here’s how the conversation with the waitress goes:
Waitress: For our specials, we have a 1-pound lobster for $9.99, we have a pound-anda-quarter lobster for $12.99.
Me: How much is your pound-anda-half?
Waitress: $24.99
Me: I’ll have 2 one-pounders.
Waitress (with large eyes): Well, I guess you can do that.
And this is how you get a Happy Heidi
So yes, if you’re counting, I really did eat 3 pounds of lobster that day…
Perhaps that’s why my jeans are a bit snug.

on September 8, 2010 12:12 pmSorry, I think it was confusing… 1 pounder at lunch, 2 pounds at dinner at a different restaurant = DEE-LISH!!
