Steeped in Tradition
September 16, 2011A happy Home Tour Friday to you! Today we’re headed to Southeastern Pennsylvania to see a stunning country home.
The cobbled rock and white trim detail is among my favorite combos. This home was built for centuries and generations to come.
I just love this view.
This black and white marbled floor sets the tone of the home for me. It’s new construction, but made to look like its been there for 100 years. I know this home contains a unique collection of period antiques, and an easy-going yet stately countryside air. Simple and gracious, yet elegant and well, gorgeous.
Seems like I’m really into stairwell shots lately, but I just can’t resist!
There are no words really.
The open beams, the oval cabinet doors, the wing-back bar stools. I could go on.
Don’t you love this photo??
And here’s what Rover is gazing at…
Can you imagine?
I mean seriously!
Many thanks to Archer & Buchanan Architects of West Chester, PA for this specatular home tour.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
