Hello 13-hour Roadtrip…

The minivan is packed (man, I love this car. See here for why).

So that’s our luggage for 3 weeks in Michigan (one wedding, Running Man’s High School reunion, and my girl’s weekend): Running Man’s bike, double jogging stroller, tiny umbrella stroller, 2 suitcases, 2 duffles, pack-n-play, inflatable toddler mattress, hanging clothes, laptop, cooler, diaper bag, bag of dry food, backpack o’ fun, and 2 pillows.

Now how to entertain the adorables for 13 hours of carseat-stuck fun?

Here’s the backpack o’ fun:

Sticker book (one hour), brand spankin’ new empty notebooks and crayons (one hour), Leapster (two hours total), books (one hour), DoodlePro (30 minutes).

and Food. They pretty much eat themselves across the country. The Oreos alone can get me 1 hour. A bag of M&M’s can last about 2-3 hours if doled out one at a time.

and Movies. Think hours and hours of movies.

(no photo here. But think of all your Disney favorites and rest assured we’ve played them all.)

and 13 hours later (lunch stop, gas stop, dinner stop), we arrive in Michigan.
