The Go-To Place For Moms
February 16, 2012Written by Cathy Baker, mother of 2 amazing girls, living the Moments on the Journey in the Ozarks of Missouri
Since I am grateful that I was introduced to this amazing organization, called Hearts at Home, when my first child was only a few months old, I thought I’d introduce it to you, as well! My daughter is now 10 (and a half – she’ll tell you!) and I still find this organization to be a constant be a source of inspiration and encouragement to me. It’s an organization that grows with me on my journey of motherhood.
I ‘stole’ this right from their website:
One of my absolute favorite things about Hearts at Home is their annual conference that is just for moms! Packed full of amazing speakers and plenty of hands-on workshops, it is full of inspiration! I have been able to attend two of these conferences and would love to go every year! I love gathering with thousands of other moms for the simple purpose of celebrating motherhood and obtaining more resources to intentionally be successful at it! Their ‘main conference’ is coming up in March. It’s located in Normal, Illinois – and they also have some smaller regional conferences throughout the year too. This year’s conference is called MOMent! Check it out here! And take a friend (or two) with you!
And I can’t mention Hearts at Home, without mentioning how this organization grew out of the need of one mom…Jill Savage. She has her own blog with regular encouragement. She’s wrote several books including Professionalizing Motherhood, Is there Really Sex After Kids? and Got Teens?
Encouragement is out there, we don’t have journey alone!
So, how do you stay encouraged in the journey of motherhood?
