Halloween Around Here
November 3, 2010Every year, I think Halloween must be my favorite holiday. Then Thanksgiving and Christmas roll around and I realize my error, but I really, really, really love Halloween.
For our Halloween celebration this year, we gathered with our original playgroup. These 4 four boys have been playing together since they were about 6 weeks old.
Then 2.5 years later, one of the moms was nice enough to have her second son 6 weeks before I had mine.
What can I say? She’s sweet that way.
Now they attend 4 different schools, and it’s such a treat for them to get together.
This week they actually were together for Friday golf lessons, Saturday Halloween party at one house, and Sunday Halloween trick-or-treating at another.
Needless to say, they had some quality time.
Not sure what else to say about this….
For me, it’s all about the home-gazing and the chance to peek inside.
Super-nice gentleman doesn’t seem to mind 12 hands grabbing his sacred candy all at once.
And off to the next house!
Best Pumpkin Carving Award: do you see SpongeBob?
My adorable can’t remember (after multitudes of costume changes) that “scary monster” costume was about 3 costumes ago.
But some hockey players can be pretty scary too.
Hope your Halloween was happy! What did you do?
