Cape Cod Luxe
June 10, 2011It’s Home Tour Friday!
You are all probably tired of me using the same words every week: “gorgeous”, “stunning”, “beautiful”, “amazing”.
(I really need some new adjectives.)
Well, I’m going to use all of them this week too.
Today we’re heading out to Cape Cod to see a stunningly beautiful, amazingly gorgeous home set on the Atlantic Ocean in East Dennis, MA.
I know, I know.
Wouldn’t you love to be here for a party?
From the pool. Notice the clear fence to protect the pool and its visitors from the wind.
At night. It’s warm, cozy, and welcoming.
The entry is light and bright.
Love the casualness of this room…
Another look.
Dining room is open and I love all those cabinets! The top of the cabinet will make a great buffet at Thanksgiving.
The Master Bedroom. Hello view!
This ceiling is killer. Period.
Kitchen. Check out the eyebrow window hidden up there.
This is the eating alcove that you can see in the corner of the above photo. Love the painted floor!
Special thanks to the team who created all this beauty:
Architect: Douglas Dick, AIA, LEED AP, LDa Architecture & Interiors
Interior Designer: Susan Williams Designs Beverly, MA
Builder: Grant Rhode, GF Rhode Construction
Exterior Photography: Bruce Martin
Interior Photography: Peter Vanderwarker
Interior Photography: Richard Mandelkorn
Have a great weekend everyone and Happy Valentine’s Day on Sunday!
**ATTENTION!! Starting next Monday – Father’s Day Week of Giveaways!! Don’t miss it!

on February 13, 2010 3:54 pmWhat I would do for all those windows! I just counted, my house has 9 windows total. That’s how many just this kitchen/eating cove had! My next house will have way more!

on June 11, 2011 8:38 amtoo funny. I saw the title of this post and was hoping for a tour of a Cape house vs. one on the Cape. =)
We live in a Cape and I would love to add on and am not sure what to do or how it would look so I was hoping for a bit of inspiration and/or vision.
Don’t get me wrong, this house has lots of vision. Just not in my price range.
