Built with Rock…
May 27, 2011Happy, happy Home Tour Friday!
Today is a WOW, friends. Here’s my problem: I thought I’d seen my favorite home of all time in Colorado Mountain High. Then I saw this house, and perhaps this is IT.
Are you breathless? This magnificent home is located on 14 rolling acres in Villanova, Pennsylvania, outside of Philadelphia.
The home is perhaps more incredible from this angle. My boy adorables would have this garden shaped into a soccer/football/lacrosse field in no time. I pine for a yard this size!
There are no words for this entryway!! This checkerboard wood floor is just beautiful. As we tour this home, notice the millwork detail everywhere.
Nor are there words for this brilliant blue butler’s pantry. Love the ceiling. And the space. And the glass. And the arches.
A beautiful kitchen. Love the brightness of the white on white.
Another shot of the entryway looking the opposite way.
And yes, I wish we could see 30 more photos of this home, but now we’re returning outside.
The various outbuildings that complete the property.
And just in case you needed one more reason to love this home…
A gorgeous pool and poolhouse!
Many thanks to Archer & Buchanan Architects of West Chester, PA for this spectacular home tour.
(I’m a big fan!)
Two giveaways this week to get in on if you haven’t already: A Charlie and Lola Megaset and a Gazillion Bubble Machine.
Have a fabulous Memorial Day weekend! Hats off to our veterans and a sincere THANK YOU for all you sacrifice to keep us safe.
