Bright Idea: The Boon Spoon!
November 15, 2011Written by Contributing Writer, Sarah Farthing
My kids haven’t even reached kindergarten yet and this is how much baby food has changed…this is awesome!!
From reader Sarah in Connecticut:
“Several days a week my kids eat lunch in the car, as we drive from point A to point B or C. For babies and toddlers, my new favorite “on the go” product is the Boon spoon that screws into the twist top lids of the bagged baby food (Plum, Gerber, Earth’s Best, Ella’s and Beech Nut).”
“It comes in a handy little case with two spoons. Simply screw the spoon into the top of the baby food bag. Squeeze the bag and the food squeezes into the spoon for the baby to eat. If little one doesn’t eat the whole bag in one sitting, simply unscrew the spoon and put it in the case to wash later. Screw the cap back on the baby food and use the rest next time, since the food was never in contact with junior’s mouth. I have used the spoon a lot in the past two weeks, and each time–in parking lots, Target, the library, the pick up line for preschool–I have gotten comments from moms about how it’s a genius invention–everyone just wishes they would have thought of it!”
Order here, it’s only $12 for a two-pack!
Today’s Bright Idea came from Sarah, mom of Abby (4 1/2), Gracie (3), and baby Sam. from Gales Ferry, CT!
