I love branches on the wall…and how cute to turn them into bookshelves.?!?! Here are two ideas I found on pinterest. Now to find an empty wall in my house…
Wasted space under your stairs? Not in this house…
The chair is what initially caught my eye on pinterest for my ‘tween daughter, but I really like the bookshelf tucked in the tree in the corner too. Chair is supposedly from Ikea, but I did not see it on their website.
Another adorable idea for a girls room – a round bookshelf.

You can find a tutorial for making this cute hanging bookshelf to put by your child’s bed (or your own!) at Penny Carnival. It would be easy to pick up fabric to match your décor.
Look at this cute DIY bookshelf I saw on pinterest. A floating bookshelf! No shelves needed…just a couple of brackets and the books themselves become the shelves! Or you can purchase a similar floating bookshelf at Land of Nod.
And last, but certainly not least….
Wow, I know. My jaw hit the floor too. Beautiful! I believe this is actually an office at National Geographic, but how gorgeous would that be in a home?!
And the point of having a bookshelf, would be to have books to read! So I hope you enjoy getting lost in a good book today!

on December 4, 2013 6:50 pmI realize this is really delayed and may not help anymore but Ikea does sell those hanging chairs still, they have for quite a while now but slightly harder to find on their site. http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/S19809351/ (That’s Canadian but I imagine it will still help you find it in your country)
