Mountain High Glory
February 22, 2013Welcome back to the Vail valley to see a gorgeous home sit high in the mountains surrounded by glorious aspens.
We’re in Edwards, Colorado, just down 1-70 1 exit from Beaver Creek and Avon. I’ve always loved Edwards as its where the locals live. Great restaurants, shopping and community – all just a short bus-ride to skiing and resort-land.
This home, built by Mastiff Development of 100 year old Austrian barn wood siding has state-of-the-art windows, insulation and heating systems.
Here’s a better look at the reclaimed barn wood.
The 35 foot stone turret has a glass floor to view the Gore range views. Love the stonework!
This home is much more contemporary than my tastes usually run, but I certainly appreciate how well it is done. Wait for the kitchen…
Dining Room.
Isn’t this kitchen cool and modern?
The master bath is equally contemporary.
I love the dulled finish of this sink and tub.
Moving downstairs…
a very elegant man-cave.
Would they ever return above-stairs??!?
And now outside for some glorious Colorado vistas.
This is what you live here for, folks.
I bet these aspens are gorgeous in the fall. Love the late afternoon light on this stone.
This home is for sale for $3.795 (you can see more on Zillow).
