Chuggington {Giveaway!}
April 11, 2011Happy, happy Giveaway Monday to you!
I was recently selected to be a Chuggington Conductor, which means I am alerted when new Chuggington products, events and shows are launching. It also means I get the happy opportunity to host frequent Chuggington giveaways.
And today is the first!
Late last week, I received a humongous box to welcome me – I could have fit both adorables and perhaps even the Running Man inside. I like to unpack such boxes at night after I have tucked the little adorables in, but this was a little conspicuous sitting in our entryway. I tried playing coy, but they were thinking *correctly* that there was something super-fun and toy-related inside. (Can they smell the new toys??)
So when I finally got them down for the night, I started unpacking and – holy moly! – there was a lot:
That’s 15 different things there including many boxes of train sets, 4 new Chuggington books, a DVD and a Matching Game.
And among them were 2 different types of train sets: The Chuggington Wooden Railway and the Chuggington Die-Cast Collection.
First up, the Chuggington Wooden Railway. I handed my 5-year-old 4 boxes including the Chuggington Wooden Railway Double-Decker Roundhouse with Elevating Turntable, Chuggington Wooden Railway Over and Under Starter Set, Chuggington Wooden Railway Wood Track Pack, and the Chuggington Wooden Railway Wood Elevated Track Pack and asked him to put it all together. In about 30 minutes, he had created this:
He did also have a few pieces left over. But I was thrilled he could handle track construction – I love jigsaw puzzles, but wooden train tracks are a little beyond me.
This Chuggington Wooden Railway Double-Decker Roundhouse with Elevating Turntable is really cool:
When you push the big red button there on the left side of the turn-table…
The entire table pops up for easy access to the top deck of the roundhouse. It works really well!
This is the Chuggington Die-Cast Collection which includes the Chuggington Die-Cast Launch And Go Roundhouse Playset and the Chuggington Die-Cast Straight And Curved Track Pack as well as 2 Die-Cast Engines:
This track really stays snapped together.
The Chuggington Die-Cast Launch And Go Roundhouse Playset pushes the train forward when you press the green button there.
This Die-Cast train set also has some other neat sets available: the Chuggington Die-Cast Training Yard With Loop Playset and the Chuggington Die-Cast Fix And Go Repair Shed Playset.
