Beach Elegant
March 26, 2010Happy Home Tour Friday to you!
Today, we’re headed to Palos Verdes Estates, California to see a killer beach home that is California-cool at heart.
Ready?
This is the family room which is separated by this large windowed wall from the kitchen and eating area. I’ve mentioned this often, but this is my ideal floor plan. That’s an antique surfboard hanging over the eating area.
I’m mostly showing you this photo for the awesome surfing art. Love the color.
Here’s a close-up of the surfboard.
Ahhh, kitchen. Gorgeous.
Here’s another look from the opposite side. Did you notice the subway tile on the ceiling? Love the shimmer up there!
Let the light shine in! A gorgeous view…
This is the Dining Room. A shift to modern here…
Notice the display wall of small figurines, cups, etc. Such an interesting way to showcase these items. Obviously no little adorables here…
The bathroom is glamorous, just like Old Hollywood.
The Living Room is an elegant statement. The coffee table is a stunner – what a piece!
A view towards the fireplace in the living room. Love the surprise of the art in an otherwise refined room.
And lest you think it was humans who ruled over this home!
A special thanks to Sarah Barnard of Sarah Barnard Design in Los Angeles for this marvelous home tour.
Happy weekend everyone!
