Hello Battle Strikers! (Giveaway)

If your adorables are 6 and older boys, or you know of anyone in this age group, then may I please have your attention:

Battle Strikers

Battle Strikers are really cool spinning tops that launch. We’ve been having the best time with them!

So here’s the arena with 6 of the tops displayed (the arena comes with 2, the other 4 are sold separately), the launchers and the two finger controllers. That’s my living room carpet underneath. Never mind that.

So you take this launcher which has 4 magnets that attach to the spinner top. Press the button and it starts to spin, then you whack it either with your other hand or your opponent’s controller and launch it into the arena. Capiche?

Then you take the little finger control (the green one) and you can control your top to hit your opponents. The last one standing wins.

Here’s a 17 second video of our spinning tournament. Don’t mind the younger adorable at the end wanting in on the action. Poor kid.

It’s also possible to stack 2 on top of each other. It takes a little bit of negotiating, but it’s quite impressive when you’re successful.

The Running Man and the elder adorable have loved this, and they wanted me to pass on a couple of hints:

1) keep it on the carpet – wood floors and this toy will not be friends.

2) it would be excellent to have a large open box to place the arena into. Sometimes the spinning tops escape the arena, so it would be nice to have an extra layer of defense.

3) no touching the spinning tops. You’ll only make this mistake once, and it’s just uncomfy, nothing serious.

My 9 year old would be battling and striking his teenage brothers if they tried to nick this off him! Looks great fun 🙂

just thinking of all of the inappropriate ways that my 8 (almost 9yo) could play this (chase the cats with the spinner, etc.). But why let my imagination run wild, maybe we’ll be the lucky winner and he can prove me wrong. =)
