Thinking Ahead

I embrace Stephen Covey’s second habit, “begin with the end in mind.” And with something as simple as holiday shopping and birthday gifts, it has a big impact. I hate to be the one to point this out but Christmas is less than 2 months away. I have started to purchase items, especially the must have ones that could sell out. And when it comes to the birthday parties, that we have every weekend, it is great to have an in-house stash of gifts so I can simply wrap and go.
Here are two games you will want to stash your birthday shelf with: Robots Turtles and Gravity Maze from Thinkfun! Both games have been named “Best Toys for Kids” and their inventors are up for “Inventor of the year”!
Robots Turtles was featured in New York Times as a new and innovative game for children. Gravity Maze enhances perception and reasoning skills. Everyone loves a board game for family game nights and playdates. And games that build logic and reasoning skills? That speaks to another Stephen Covey habit, number 4 – think win win!
